Senator Feinstein -- It's 'Morally Correct' to force Americans to pay for Abortions

Well ain't she just a peach!

Senator Dianne Feinstein, hailing from the state that just exudes high morals -- CA -- feels that it is morally OK for the government to force Americans into paying for abortions, regardless of what your religious or personal beliefs may be....
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D.-Calif.) told CNSNews.com that using tax dollars from pro-life Americans to pay for insurance plans that cover abortion is morally correct.

The health care bill put before the Senate by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) would in fact provide tax dollars to health insurance plans that cover abortion. An amendment to the health care bill sponsored by Sen. Ben Nelson (D.-Neb.) that would have prohibited tax dollars from going to insurance plans that cover abortion was defeated yesterday.
(CNSNews)
It sounds like she laying the ground work for one of the new Czars that believe in using the government to install population control measures?

How's this for a comparison.... so muslim prisoners are not offended -- our government feeds them special meals, airlines have been sued because a few muslims were offended, and Hate Crime laws have been passed to keep people from being offended or their views attacked, but our government has no problem enacting laws that force Americans to pay for something they find offensive and against their religious beliefs.

With the pick & choose progressives, your beliefs mean nothing... unless of course they are in line with their doctrine. Using and growing the government to force you into becoming a progressive zombie is just the means to an end for trying to impose their agenda on the American public.

Maybe one of the progressive lefties that read this blog would like to take a stab at explaining the logic behind this hypocrisy!

Thinking Tea Party Candidate does not mean Third Party!

Mark G Pogue

Just recently I posted as my status on Twitter and Facebook

"I think 2012 people should think about a tea party candidate instead of a R or D!".

By some of the comments you would have thought I had suggested a 3rd party. OMG has all political thinking and reasoning common sense left the voters mind. I said think about a tea party candidate. A Tea Party Candidate could be Republican or Democrat because all true Tea Party supporters with any common sense understands that their party has been high jacked. for the Democrats it the Progressive Liberals and for the Republicans it's the RINO's. Or the RINO Jack Ass kissing candidates that will say anything or give a way the farm to get elected. When I was a kid my parents where UAW workers and use to be Democrats, so I was raised in a Democrat house hold and this was my opinion of both parties at that time.

Democrats: Supported every union and the working man mostly blue collar and hated big Business and the rich man.TAX, TAX, TAX,But still had morals

Republican: Was ran by the moral majority and the late Jerry Farwell, supported people that worked and made it rich on their own.

At that time in my life I never voted solid party. If I voted for a Republican President I voted Democrat Congress and Senate then and the same mid term elections. it was my way of having a balance of power. I did the same thing if I voted a Democrat for President.

Today it is impossible for me to even think Democrat because it has been high jacked by the far liberal left, and then I look at the Republicans and I have no ideal what has taken them over, but Republican party officials seem to be afraid to admit that they stand for anything and have any values in order to steal votes from the left. I mean lets look at last years Republican Presidential candidate John McCain. He could not campaign for office if his soul depended on it. He would not come out and Blast Obama when he had the chance to. last year, February 2008 McCain apologized for comments when Cincinnati Radio talk show host Bill Cunningham slammed Obama hard on his identity before Senator John McCain arrived at the campaign event. Every time someone would fire up the campaign McCain would splash water on it and cool things down. That has become the norm for the Republican party

I mean think about this! Obama ran a very smart and strong campaign. If you want to blame former President Bush for everything fine go ahead, but I disagree, but if your a voter looking at the candidates , For me I knew the change that Obama was pushing and wanted no part of it. But looking at the candidates, did you have that much of a choice? McCain came across as to soft of a Republican and people felt as if they have no choice, so they voted for the bright and pretty symbol polished by Howard Dean. And I don't think most voters are losing there morals when just after the November 2008 election the California voters voted down gay marriage. do you really think they where all Republican voters? People want a Joe Wilson that will not say sorry after he spoke the truth on national TV when the President is giving the State of the Union. They want a balance of power with two parities and not a polarized voting. system. There is no balance right now. Every general election the pendulum swings hard right or hard left therefor creating a polarized nation.

When I made the comment on facebook I was want people to think out of the box, but as Ralph King commented and I quote -

"it is not as much that some people are able to think outside the box as it is some people are free-thinking individuals and not party programed trolls unable to think for themselves."

I agree with that statement. Both parties can use the Teaparty movement to purge it's self of the idiots and clean both parties up and demand more and bring the balance back.

That is thinking Tea Party Candidate!

Action Alert: Government Waiting Rooms & Senate Office Emergency Calls

Fellow Patriots,

For those that don't know.... we are going back to D.C. and combining this effort with rallys at the Senators local offices.

Disregard the latest and 20th time Senator Reid has claimed he has the votes to pass the Senate version of the health care bill. We are not out of this fight yet and unless we quit, this battle is not even close to being over!

Here are some important updates for December 14th and 15th events....

Candlelight Vigil in Medina – Dec. 14th

The light of freedom shall not be extinguished! Join us as Medina Tea Party Patriots host a candlelight vigil of “prayer and patriotism.”

  • Date: Monday, December
  • Time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m
  • Location: Medina City Square

We will gather by the Gazebo for a short time of prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. We will then walk around the Square.

Purpose: Our goal is to voice our concerns as a community about government-run healthcare and to help others see the dangers of the current Senate healthcare bill. We also will commemorate the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, which took place December 16th.

What to bring: Please bring your flags, signs, candles and flashlights.

(Please note: While the national group has moved the candlelight vigil to the 16th to honor the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, we will still be holding our vigil on Monday, December 14th.)

Government Waiting Rooms/Senate Emergency Call in DC – Dec. 15th

If you can make it, we need you in DC on December 15th! There are 2 separate events that are happening in DC that day: Government Waiting Rooms and Senate Emergency Call. The events are being hosted by several groups, including: Tea Party Patriots, Freedom Works, Patients First - a project of Americans for Prosperity, Let Freedom Ring, National Taxpayers Union and others.

Government Waiting Rooms Event

For those who can be in DC early on December 15th, you can participate in the Government Waiting Rooms event. The meet-up time will be at or about 8:00 a.m. (National Tea Party coordinators are still working on the details for the exact meet-up location, before people begin visiting the targeted Senators' offices.) To make this successful, we need at least 1,000 people to participate.

The objective of the Government Waiting Rooms event is to show the impact of rationing and long waiting lists that will occur if our government takes over our healthcare. The event will start as a sit-in; however, throughout the day, we will have people dying from causes like not getting preventive treatment (i.e. mammograms until 50) or waiting for cancer treatment.

Senate Emergency Call Event

For those who cannot be in DC until later in the morning, you can participate in the Senate Emergency Call event. There will be a demonstration at 1:00 p.m. in Upper Senate Park , which people can attend before they visit the Senators' offices. There will be a few speakers from the Patients First group; however, the rally will be short, so people can focus on visiting with their Senators. It is our understanding one organization already has 100 buses lined up to take people to DC on the 15th.

Take a Bus to D.C.

If you are interested in going to DC via bus, Mike Prokop of the Cleveland Tea Party Patriots is organizing buses for the event. To reserve a seat, please email the Cleveland Tea Party Patriots at:
Clevelandteaparty@gmail.com.

In the subject heading please put: “Att: Mike / Reserve Seat for Bus Trip to D.C.” The cost is $50 per person. Mike must have payment in hand by Thursday, December 10.

Make checks payable to:

Mike Prokop
983 Helmsdale Rd
Cleveland Heights , OH 44112

The Cleveland buses are planning to depart for D.C. around midnight or 1:00 a.m. (December 15th). Departure from D.C. will be around 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. When you reserve your seat, you will be given the exact departure location as well as the specific itinerary of departure and arrival.

Senate Emergency Call in Cleveland – Dec. 15th

If you cannot go to DC on the 15th, the Cleveland Tea Party Patriots, Medina Tea Party Patriots and other local Tea Party groups are planning to make an “emergency house call” to Voinovich’s office in Cleveland . Our goal is to urge Senator Voinovich to vote NO for government-run healthcare.
  • Date: Tuesday, December 15th
  • Time: 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m
  • Location: 1240 East 9th Street , Room 3061, Cleveland , OH 44199
Hand Delivering Letters to Our Senators – Dec. 15th

Cleveland Tea Party Patriots and other local groups will be hand delivering letters to our Ohio Senators in DC and locally on the 15th. We are urging all patriots to write four letters – two for Voinovich (one to his DC office and the other to his local office) and two for Brown (one to his DC office and the other to his local office). Your letters will be delivered to Senators Voinovich and Brown.

Please mail your letters to:

Driving to D.C.?

Here are some ideas for parking in Northern Virginia....

Arlington, Virginia
  • Pentagon City Mall 1250 South Hayes St., Arlington, VA 22202
Park at the mall (it does require paying, but it beats dealing with the outrageous parking fees in D.C.) Metro access is inside the mall.

  • Crystal City 1750 South Clark St., Arlington, VA 22202
Park on 22nd or S. Eads in Arlington (there are 12 and 24 hour meters so that gives you plenty of time) Metro is by the Crystal Gateway Marriott
JUST A FEW MILES OUT

Falls Church, Virginia
  • East Falls Church 2001 N. Sycamore St., Arlington, VA 22205
Paid parking ($4.50 all day) is at the metro
Metro access is right at the station.

  • West Falls Church 7040 Haycock Road, Falls Church, VA 22043
Paid parking ($4.50 all day) is at the metro

Federal Government will Pressure States in Health Care Revenue Collecting

Kevin Price
From Facebook

As the states desperately try to pass legislation to protect itself from the many potentially adverse effects of the President's health care proposal, the federal government is working all the harder to make sure state governments do the heavy lifting for the bill's funding.
According to a recent article by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann, the amount of spending required for the new Medicaid package is so staggering, it requires state as well as federal funding. Southern states have tended to try to contain costs by keeping Medicare spending in check. The Obama administration is planning on forcing states to bring more dollars to the table.
The authors cite the following examples:

My home state of Texas will be hit the hardest ($2.8 billion in additional state spending), Pennsylvania will be second ($1.5 billion), followed by California ($1.4 billion), and finally Florida ($909 million).

The amount is so high, financially strapped Florida may believe it has no choice but to impose an income tax. This is a practice the state has long tried to avoid.

The impact may include political tones, since for many of the states represented by swing senators in the health care debate, the required increases in state spending are likely to be quite high, say Morris and McGann:

In the state of Arkansas, where swing Senators Mark Pryor and Blanche Lincoln live, the increased spending required under the Obamacare bill would come to over $400 million (not counting the federal share). This adds up to a 10 percent increase in state spending. Lincoln is considered one of the most vulnerable Senators in 2010, so this debate has particular meaning to her.

In Louisiana, Senator Mary Landrieu is literally being accused of selling her vote in return for more Medicaid funding, the increase would come to $432 million (a 5 percent hike in state spending), more than wiping out the extra funds she got in return for her vote. What is so myopic about this is that, not only will the amount of dollars she got be offset due to the costs on the state from day one, the "pay off" will only benefit for a limited period of time. The new cost on the state will be annual and without an expiration date.

In Indiana, where the more moderate (by Democrat standards) Evan Bayh is senator, spending would go up by $586 million. This is a significant increase of 4 percent.
Ben Nelson of Nebraska has been one of the health care bill's stronger Democrat critics. His state will require an additional spending under the bill of $81 million, a 2 percent increase.

The pain continues to other states, as North Dakota, home of Senators Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan, will face a spending increase of $14 million, and in South Dakota, represented by moderate Democrat Tim Johnson, Medicaid spending would have to rise by $33 million.

These increases in spending do not include the direct cost that will have to be carried by Americans in federal tax. This bill remains complicated and the extent of the financial injury it provides only grows daily.

Obama trying to backdoor American's with his Nuts

They say an apple doesn't fall far from the tree... it looks like ACORN's don't either!

Apparently upset that ACORN isn't able to feed from the federal trough anymore, President Obama is trying to backdoor some love for his Nuts....

From Washington News Observer --

Video: Rep. Issa Asks If Decision To Continue ACORN Funding Is Obama's Payback To The Political Machine

(0:05) "While Americans were enjoying Thanksgiving holidays with their family and friends, they learned that the Obama Administration had released an opinion designed to overturn the very law Congress passed and the President signed that intended to cut off federal funding to ACORN. This decision raises obvious questions that now deserve an answer. Is this Barack Obama's payback to the political machine that helped get him elected?" –Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)

Who: Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA), Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX), Congressman Steve King (R-IA), Todd Rokita (IN Secretary of State)
What: Forum on ACORN
Where: House of Representatives
When: Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

Soundbite 1: Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) Calls For Special Prosecutor For ACORN Investigation.

(0:59) "The President's ties to ACORN taint any conclusions the Justice Department may reach with regard to whether or not to investigate and prosecute ACORN employees. That is why I have requested that the Attorney General appoint a special prosecutor to oversee the investigation of ACORN." -Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX)

Soundbite 2: Rep. Steve King (R-IA) Says Obama Worked For ACORN.

(0:37) "We are going to find out that these roads following ACORN do lead to the White House. We know that the President has worked for ACORN and he has been part and parcel of that. He has talked about it openly, Project Vote in particular." -Rep. Steve King (R-IA)

Soundbite 3: Todd Rokita (IN Secretary of State) Says ACORN Investigations Should Not Be A Partisan Issue.

(2:44) "I'm not sure why this is a partisan issue quite honestly. When I get asked as Indiana Secretary of State about where we are with ACORN in our investigation into what is happening it's not just Republicans asking me; it's Democrats, it's everyone." - Todd Rokita , IN Secretary of State
