What is Project Icebreaker? (Hint: it's about digital currency)

What is Project Icebreaker?  What is the BIS?  Brandon Smith answers both questions at InfoWars.  First, two major take-aways re: the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs):

In a cashless society most people would be dependent on digital products for exchanging goods and labor, and this would of course mean the end of all privacy in trade. Everything you buy or sell or work for in your life would be recorded, and this lack of anonymity could be used to stifle your freedoms in the future.

With CBDCs in place and no physical cash in existence, your savings will never be truly yours and you’ll never be able to hold your purchasing power in your hands. The means of exchange would be bottle-necked by the banks, and governments would have the option to freeze your ability to transact.

And now for two answers:

. . . The Orwellian nature of CBDCs cannot be overstated. In a cashless society most people would be dependent on digital products for exchanging goods and labor, and this would of course mean the end of all privacy in trade. Everything you buy or sell or work for in your life would be recorded, and this lack of anonymity could be used to stifle your freedoms in the future.

. . .

It’s important to understand that central bankers are moving at breakneck speed to develop and introduce digital currencies. It’s not a matter of experimentation, they already have these systems ready to implement. The Federal Reserve’s instant transfer program “FedNow” is set to debut this July, which is not a CBDC but it is an intermediary step towards instituting CBDCs in the near term.

In my investigations of various CBDC programs and how quickly they are progressing I came across an interesting program called “Project Icebreaker” being run by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). For those not aware, the BIS is a globalist institution with a clandestine past known as the “central bank of central banks.” It is the policy making hub for most of the central banks in the world. If you ever wondered how it was possible for so many national central banks to operate in tandem with each other instead of acting in the interests of the countries they reside in, the BIS is the answer. In other words, organizations like the Federal Reserve are not necessarily loyal to Americans or to American officials, they are loyal to the dictates of the BIS.

The BIS is at the forefront of the movement towards the adoption of CBDCs. . . .

. . . Project Icebreaker in particular grabbed my attention for a number of reasons. The BIS describes the project as a foreign exchange clearing house for Retail CBDCs (retail CBDCs are digital currencies used by the regular public and businesses), enabling the currencies to be traded from country to country quickly and efficiently. This is accomplished using the “Icebreaker Hub”, a BIS controlled mechanism which facilitates data transfers for an array of transactions while connecting banks to other banks. . . .

Dr Malone: Is that the world you want to live in?

InfoWars posted a transcript of some of the interview with Dr Robert Malone:

Dr. Robert Malone, scientist and inventor of the mRNA technology used in the COVID injections, is sounding the alarm about the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) plan for “global fascism.”

In a Thursday interview with Rebel News, Dr. Malone voiced his support for the Canadian Trucker Convoy and broke down how that movement is undermining the “heavy-handed totalitarianism” of the WEF’s Great Reset.

“For me, it’s the truckers’ emphasis on medical autonomy,” Malone said. “The science is on the side of the Canadian and US Truckers.”

“What comes out on the other side really depends on if people value personal autonomy, and it depends on if are they’re willing to step up and fight for it — or are they ok with becoming serfs in a techno-fascist situation where the global financial elite control everything you do? Is that the world you want to live in? Is that the world you want your children to live in? Because that’s what’s at stake here.”

Malone highlighted how the WEF’s Great Reset model is essentially a sophisticated form of corporate fascism first outlined by WWII Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

. . .

“He actually suggested that a better term than fascism, is Corporatism; that’s what the World Economic Forum attempts to advance is a global fascism – a global corporatism – they don’t hide it. They use different words, but I’m pretty dug in on trying to use plain talk, that people understand, and not hiding things behind fancy words,” he added.

WEF founder Klaus Schwab recently spoke at the Global Government Summit to promote the Great Reset, insisting that the “COVID crisis” is the perfect vector to completely transform energy, food, and supply chain systems in what he calls the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.”

Absurdities Of The COVID Pandemic

A.F. Branco cartoons are published at Legal Insurrection.com

The Top 10 Absurdities Of The COVID Pandemic…So Far

by Zero Hedge,posting at InfoWars

In countdown order:

#10 – One-way traffic rules in supermarket aisles –

#9 – COVID is Trump’s fault –

#8 – Teachers can’t go back to work, but everyone else can –

#7 – It was xenophobic for Trump to halt travel from China  –

#6 – Fifteen days to slow the spread  –

#5 – President Joe Biden: “Help is on the way” –

#4 – The response by The World Health Organization –

#3 – Blue states did it better –

#2 – Get the vaccine, but keep doing all of the other stuff  –

#1 – Wear two masks  –

The beginning of the pandemic was chaotic, and it would have been understandable if Dr. Anthony Fauci had simply made a mistake when he told us we didn’t need masks. But it wasn’t a mistake. He lied to us and admitted doing so. Fauci justified his deceit by claiming concern that masks might not be available for health care professionals. Then Fauci decided to stop lying to us and told us to wear masks, but wouldn’t even follow his own directive. Fauci threw out the first pitch at the Washington Nationals opening game last year, and forget that he threw the ball like a little girl; which, if anything, is insulting to little girls. He was wearing a mask despite the nearest person being sixty feet away. He then proceeded to sit in the stands directly next to a friend, at which point he removed his mask. Then late last year Fauci decided that it would be best if we wore two masks, without any evidence to support his notion. Like lockdowns, there’s still no evidence that mask-wearing had a significant impact on the pandemic. Dr. Fauci has zero credibility at this point, and if you’re following this recommendation by wearing two masks, then you are a moron.

Twitter Permanently Bans Alex Jones – Who’s Next?

I don’t click very often at InfoWars, which is accessible on several aggregator sites [as of this posting, the website is still up, including reports of the censorship]. But that’s not the point. Mike LaChance at Legal Insurrection has a scary report “based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behavior policy”:

The deplatforming of Alex Jones by social media sites should disturb you whether you are a fan or not. I’ve never been a fan of Jones or his Infowars site. I’ve never gotten past the time Jones led an angry mob against Michelle Malkin in 2008. Still, if this can be done to him it can be done to anyone.

Twitter was the last holdout of the Jones purge, but announced their decision yesterday.

Eli Blumenthal writes at USA Today:

Twitter bans conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, Infowars from social network for violating ‘abusive behavior’ policy

Alex Jones has been kicked off of Twitter.

The controversial founder of conspiracy website Infowars was banned from the social network Thursday afternoon. Both Jones’ personal account and that of his website were removed by Twitter.

“Today, we permanently suspended @realalexjones and @infowars from Twitter and Periscope,” Twitter’s official Safety account tweeted. “We took this action based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behavior policy, in addition to the accounts’ past violations.”

This strikes me as a violation of Jones’s First Amendment rights. As the headline says, “who’s next?” Read the rest of the Legal Insurrection account here.

UPDATE at 2:10PM via PJ Media: Alex Jones: "I’m the 'Beta Test' for Tech Companies to Start Censoring Conservatives."

Mayor Jackson proposes increase to minimum wage for Cleveland employees

Cleveland.com reports that Mayor Frank Jackson intends to raise the minimum wage for City employees, so that in order to

raise up the earning power of the bottom end of the workforce.

The change would affect as many as 500 employees in a wide array of jobs, ranging from clerical and custodial staff to park and recreation workers to police and fire cadets. The workers are both full time and part time, union and non-union.

InfoWars reports on the actual results of the city of Seattle’s decision to raise the minimum wage:

Helping the “forgotten man” was an important and successful message for President Donald Trump in his election campaign.

He tapped into the anxieties of many Americans who are struggling to find work and are watching as traditional industries disappear or are gobbled up by automation.

While some of this development has been natural, much has been artificially created by bad policies. In particular: the minimum wage.

A bombshell report was released Monday about the impact of minimum wage hikes in Seattle, Washington. The study, conducted by economists at the University of Washington, showed that minimum wage laws significantly decreased employment for lower-income workers.

Additionally, the report found that average hours for low-income employees had also declined since Seattle’s $13 minimum wage law began being implemented in 2015.

Another idea that sounds good at first, until you consider the consequences, both intended and unintended. Speaking of consequences, elsewhere we read that Jeff Bezos’s purchase of Whole Foods will be followed by replacing employees with robotics in the warehouse.
