An assessment of morons

 

I have always been a fan of Alicia Colon.  Her most recent column at Jewish World Review is Part II of her assessment of morons. Here’s a big chunk:

No one likes to be called a moron, an imbecile or just plain stupid but if you're a conservative, as I am, you will eventually regard that appellation as a badge of honor for speaking the truth.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton called me deplorable for daring to vote for Donald Trump and consequently that word's meaning has changed from a negative to a positive as it now means someone who disagrees with the left.

I did not vote for Bill Clinton, Barack Obama or Joe Biden but when they won, I certainly didn't fall apart like the Hillary supporters after Donald Trump won in 2016. Their anguish and screams are on perpetual view on YouTube. When I first watched the compilation of this post 2016 election hysteria, I found it very amusing at first then it just seemed sad.

Wouldn't it be interesting, however, for someone to interview that poor soul, shown screaming in agony, and ask her to compare the four years of Trump's presidency to the current disaster that belongs to Biden. Then I'd ask her why she believed that Hillary Clinton would be a good president as she mentions her beauty and her potential?

This is what I do not understand and why I've resorted to categorizing such behavior as moronic. Anyone who has vetted Ms. Clinton's past in depth would come away conceding that Trump was right. She deserved to be locked up. She was my Senator for eight years but didn't do much except vote against George Bush's tax cuts. But she has been linked to scandals since her days in Arkansas as the governor's wife. Do these Hillary acolytes ever Google the words, Whitewater; Benghazi; Uranium One; Haiti and the Clinton Foundation? I think not and suggest that they read the book [Peter Schweizer's]  “Clinton Cash” to learn how the Clintons got rich from foreign governments and why they are both totally corrupt.

I previously wrote how the media has conned its readers on the global warming hoax and the Clintons but the most egregious harm these mechanisms caused was to the black community. Under the guise of liberal concern, the lamestream press salivated over every edict issued from Democrat politicians and found that using the charge of racism against conservatives was very successful.

Black Lives Matter was founded on a lie. One that ignorant NBA players fell for while they raised their arms imitating Michael Brown's supposed surrender to the cop that fatally shot him. Michael Brown was killed because he was stoned on pot and went to grab the cop's gun. A Washington Post columnist, Jonathan Capehart, himself a black man, was demonized for telling the truth and wrote: "We must never allow ourselves to march under the banner of a false narrative," he wrote in his final paragraph. "And when we discover that we have, we must acknowledge it, admit our error and keep on marching." No one listened and the rest is infamous history.

The toadies in the blue states knelt before the BLM god, defunded the police and let the anarchists destroy the cities while the media ignored the havoc.

For a few years, common sense was on board with Donald Trump in charge. He opened the pipelines, lowered taxes, did more for Israel than any other president and made America once again the number one superpower. Every Trump success has been steamrolled over by the Biden administration and we now have rampant inflation, exorbitant gas prices, and a real possibility of a WWIII. Notice- I said a Biden administration not Joe Biden because Joe Biden isn't even in charge. We don't know who is for sure but it's clear to anyone that Biden is not operating on all cylinders and the global community is terrified.

Alicia Colon on the 2016 and 2020 elections

 

Alicia Colon brings some historical perspective to the 2020 election fraud:

Most of us, however, were definitely against Hillary Clinton and the idea of Bill Clinton ever being in the Oval office again. Clinton was the first president I’ve ever regarded as treasonous. It was very clever of the Democrats to frame his impeachment as due to an improper sexual incident rather than one of high treason.

According to David Horowitz of Front Page Magazine, as president, Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China. His administration took in millions from the military and intelligence services of at least one hostile foreign power. All of this was done in exchange for illegal campaign contributions from a massive totalitarian country determined to eclipse the U.S. as a world superpower. Don’t take my word for it. Google the word China Gate 1996 or read about Johnny Chung and his many visits to the White House. “One of the key technological breaks China received, without having to spy to get it, was the deliverance of supercomputers once banned from export for security reasons,” writes Horowitz.

The Trump supporters or the Deplorables as we are called, love our president for what he has achieved in the last four years and we don’t give a whit for what he was before. What we do know is that everything he has done has been for all Americans and to save our great nation from the enemy within. What we all believe is that Trump won reelection in a landslide. This is the only fact that makes sense. Compare the millions that attended all his rallies to the empty parking lot Biden events that were held when he infrequently left his basement. What happened on November 3rd, Election Day was that the counting stopped and the Deep State minions had to switch to Plan B. Why? The original theft was supposed to be confined to the Dominion computer program switching Trump votes to Biden but the algorithm was set to handle fewer votes than the Trump landslide. Plan B depended on the phony mail in ballots that would be counted as valid because Democrat election officials had unconstitutionally changed the rules to allow massive voter fraud. We know this because there are videos, hundreds of signed affidavits by witnesses, many patriotic whistleblowers, and yet the Never Trumpers, Rinos, the SCOTUS and the lamestream media are “the none so blind, they will not see.”

The Great COVID-19 Hoax

Some skeptics probably rank man-made global warming/cooling as the world’s Biggest Hoax.  Alicia Colon nominates the COVID-19 lock-down and related control tactics (think: face masks) as the Biggest Hoax.  Both hoaxes are all about money and power.  Her article “Falling for the Biggest Hoax in History” at American Thinker begins:

It will probably take months if not years for the truth of the Covid-19 pandemic to emerge, but when it does will any politician take responsibility for the lies and disinformation or the damage this hoax caused this great nation? I don’t think so, but what it did prove was what happens when the Democrats are in charge. They may not be in the White House but it is the House that wields the power over legislation and our money.  Couple this power with the useful idiots in the mainstream media to promote the widespread hysteria, and we then had the total capitulation of a frightened nation that accepted an unprecedented total lockdown of its existence. Shame on us.

In previous severe flu seasons, there were much higher death rates yet there were no mandatory lockdowns.  Why do I call this pandemic a hoax?  The only reason why politicians, especially the Democrats in charge, pushed for shutting down the economy was because economic destruction was their ultimate goal. Trump’s strong economy, low unemployment numbers for all Americans was a real obstacle to a Joe Biden victory. Democrats have seized on this pandemic because they never let a crisis go to waste.

Americans have been gaslighted. We can’t take anything reported by the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, MSNBC, the Drudge Report and the Alphabet Networks as gospel because it’s all designed to frighten and delay the recovery. . . .

Pushing back against Socialism

There are a lot of good editorials online this week comparing capitalism and socialism. But Alicia Colon is always one of my favorite contributors, and her column today begins

If Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez had grown up as I did during the Cold War in the 50's the very last thing she would be promoting would be socialism.

Granted our circumstances were very different as my family was dysfunctional, poor and we lived in the tough streets of Spanish Harlem; unlike the new Democrat congresswoman who spent most of her teen years in a more posh neighborhood.

Nevertheless I benefited from a solid parochial education taught by anti-Marxist nuns.

AOC, as she is now known, is a product of academic indoctrination by Marxists professors who have obviously never read Animal Farm or 1984 and are enthralled with the socialist agenda.

As poor as we were, we felt fortunate to live in this great country where we had the freedom to become whatever we chose to be. Most of us wanted to become wealthy enough to leave the inner city and raise healthy families. That was not possible under communism where the state ruled over everyone's lives.

AOC and so many poorly educated millenials have become useful idiots for the progressive Marxists disciples of Saul Alinsky and the Frankfurt School that Andrew Breitbart warned us about. We, who lived in the ‘50's, learned how to think and reason so that the very idea of global warming smelled to high heaven. How on earth could we plan to save a planet that old based on data that has only been around for a few hundred years?

Unfortunately, the feeble-minded have the stage right now and it is up to us older citizens in the silent majority to cut through the lies of the progressive and lamestream press and recognize that it is no longer viable for Americans not to get involved with politics. One of the major parties has been hijacked and supports infanticide, anti-Semitism and boos when it hears the name of God.

Those of us who believe in the market, even with the usual reservations, should be preparing for battle. We have in our corner that some Democrats (Omar, AOC, etc.) are heading off a cliff. That's to the good, but complacency is our enemy. As the left would say, the struggle continues (la lucha continua). Let's turn it back on them.

Calling all deplorables!

Alicia Colon is one of my favorite columnists, and she recently posted on American Thinker here.

Sometimes it's important to preach to the choir, because I'm pretty sure only the choir shares my political opinion.  It is absolutely imperative that the deplorables come out in force in a few weeks because they will be able to do the impossible.  Just imagine what will happen in the midterm elections if the most powerful Democrats are ousted from office.  In California, that means Dianne Feinstein , Nancy Pelosi, and Maxine Waters; in New York, that means Andrew Cuomo and Kirsten Gillibrand, and New York State would then have a Republican governor and senator.  Impossible, you may say, but if all who voted for Trump in 2016 came out in force and voted straight Republican, this might happen.  Unfortunately, with less than a month left, the RNC still hasn't admitted that it hasn't worked hard enough for GOP candidates in New York and California.

I get frequent calls from the RNC urging me to donate, and I patiently explain that until the RNC starts supporting candidates in my state, I will continue to donate directly to their campaigns, not the RNC.

Since we can't depend on the GOPe to drain the swamp, it's up to us deplorables and...what was it Biden called some of us?  Oh, yes: the dregs of society.  That means we have to do our homework by supporting with donations those good candidates who need to air ads to combat the lies the Democrats are airing.

So how does one combat that lack of knowledge?  Television ads on the networks that the low-info voters watch should have some impact, but these are highly expensive.

It's up to us, to the millions of us, to donate even a little to the brave candidates opposing the swamp.  Here are their names and websites:

·         Gov. Andrew Cuomo vs. Marc Molinaro

·         Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand vs. Chele Farley

·         Rep. Maxine Waters vs. Omar Navarro

·         Rep. Nancy Pelosi vs. Lisa Remmer

·         Calif. Gov. Race – Gavin Newsom vs. John H. Cox

·         N.J. Sen. Bob Menendez vs. Bob Hugin  

·         Florida Gov. Race – Socialist Andrew Gillum (supported by Soros and Steyer) vs. Ron DeSantis (Floridians should take note: if Gillum wins, no more tax-free income.)

·         Sen. Claire McCaskill vs. Josh Hawley

And wouldn't we love to have this man in the Senate – John James?

It's up to us deplorables in each state to hunt down the worthy candidates to drain the swamp.

Alicia Colon on political hysteria

Alicia Colon’s column on the occasion of President Trump’s birthday is, as usual, thoughtful. Her title is “When Losing an Election Makes You Lose Your Mind” – and it will probably resonate with Cleveland Tea Party people. Here are a few extracts:

The presidential election of 2016 was an entirely different ball game because the man who won was a completely different animal.

A billionaire nonpolitician was elected who was also very dangerous to the settled bureaucratic elite in both parties because he is uncontrollable by the special interests that rule Congress. The wrath and derangement that spilled forth after the election and continues still is unprecedented yet not completely surprising.

Although it made absolutely no sense, the hype for a Hillary Clinton presidency was relentless and overpoweringly waged in all sources, including the media, the Internet and social networks.

There were very few critics asking the important question --- why this woman?

She carried more baggage than an airport porter yet only one candidate (Trump) chose to call her a criminal.

It is clear that the Democrat Party has become the amoral party of progressives aka Marxists and not the one my family grew up with. There are no Zell Millers or like-minded thinkers left here.

If you're a conservative who voted for Donald Trump even though he wasn't your first choice, you may have ended up ostracized by the Democrats in your family or have ended up writing off a number of friends who've expressed contempt for your choice. It's a very wise policy not to discuss politics or religion but hard to do when your career is about politics.

I've been called a moron, a deplorable, unhinged, and worse by those whom I once believed were reasonable but have now lost their minds. I choose not to return that vitriol for those I care for and hope that one day they will come to their senses and realize the sky is not falling and our POTUS may succeed in making America great again.

He will do this in spite of all the mainstream media, leftwing pundits, social media, the entire Democrat Party, RINOs, Hollywood celebrities and Soros minions spending his billions waging phony protests against him.

I will continue to pray for President Trump's success and I encourage the rest of the deplorables to wish him well.

More on Trump Derangement Syndrome

Alicia Colon is another favorite columnist – informed, succinct, and easy to read. And she is a Deplorable. Her column today in Jewish World News resonated with me, It will probably strike a chord with most Main Street Patriots who have liberal friends and relatives who will not engage in any discussions on politics and who rely on the mainstream media for their news:

No, I Am Not a Moron but Half the Country is Deranged

A dear friend called me just before the last election to vent her disgust at the choices we had for president. She wasn't going to vote for Hillary and was leaning towards anybody but Trump.

She called the Trump supporters, 'morons' and when I told her I planned to vote for him, she quickly said, "I don't want to talk about it anymore."

That's the typical response I always got when I tried to discuss the election. I don't mind being called a moron because I know I'm not one, nor are most of the voters who went for Trump.

We 'deplorables' have probably done more research on the issues and are dumbfounded as to why anyone would ever think that Hillary Clinton was a viable candidate.

Since the recent firing of FBI Director Comey, the Democrats in Congress have donned their tin foil hats and view this as Trump's 'get out of jail' card to avoid a Russian investigation. If anyone has a Russian connection, it would be Hillary who as Secretary of State allowed Clinton donors to sell their company Uranium One to the Russians. This gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States.

Incredibly this was reported by Jo Becker and Mike McIntire in of all places The New York Times in April 2015. This tidbit was in the article: 

"And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock."

Recently Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina alleged that then-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called her office and demanded that she snag a special job for a big Clinton Foundation donor.

We 'morons' knew all about the shady dealing of the Clintons and their Foundation because we read the detailed research in, "Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich".

Thus the jackals in Congress keep regurgitating a non issue proving that they are partisan to the detriment of any integrity. I have no problem having a Special investigation into any Russian collusion as long as it includes an in depth look into the very real connections to the Clinton camp and that means John Podesta's 75,000 shares of stock from a Kremlin-financed company which he failed to disclose.

Most of us deplorables were incensed that Hillary Clinton was getting a pass after breaking the Espionage Act but Comey testified in Congress that she was not going to be indicted because there was no intent to break the law. WHAT? Hillary Clinton's reckless and negligent e-mails included the names of CIA officers serving overseas and foreigners who are on the spy agency's payroll -- potentially endangering their lives. Remember Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff, Scooter Libby, was jailed for allegedly outing Valerie Plame, who was a CIA desk jockey, not a spy in the field? . . .

In the very short time Donald Trump has been president, he is probably the most besieged leader since Abraham Lincoln presiding over a super polarized nation. This polarization is not based on the serious issue of slavery but by the lies and malicious machinations of a hostile opposition party and the lapdog media minions. They have successfully turned half this nation into blithering, infantile, angry non thinkers who base their anger on faux news emanated by the liberal fascists in the media.

To fully understand what I wrote in my headline, consider three issues where the derangement is most evident-Black Lives Matter, gender politics and Climate Change.
