Sundance at Conservative
Treehouse has an excellent analysis of why things never seem to change and improve, and
what We The People are up against in attempting to make our voices heard in
DC. It’s not a pretty picture, but at
least we can be part of the community that helps others to open their
eyes. Here’s a significant extract:
We send politicians to stop the
madness of government, but nothing changes. Why?
Washington DC is a Potemkin
village. We focus on the visible but the constructs that impact us do not
originate from the false façade. There’s something behind that façade,
and what we see is…. entirely… a façade. That’s why sending the
politicians doesn’t change the outcome. To get to the core of the issue,
we must first stop looking at the Potemkin village and instead look behind it.
Legislation, rules, regulations and
laws are not written by congress. The paperwork comes from the assembly
of legal and lobbyist foot soldiers on K-Street. That’s where the ink is
put to the paper and the legislative outcomes first originate. K-Street
is where the corporations, multinationals and financial organizations control
the process.
If the corporations behind the DC façade want to shift the money, they proactively write the rules, regulations
and laws that steer the actual policy outcomes to their financial target or
destination. Their wealth expands and they reward the participants, the
politicians.
Most of the entry level politicians
are oblivious to where the corporations have proactively moved; however, a few
of the politicians -- the leadership groups -- know exactly where the destination
of the legislative intent is going. The latter are tenured in the power structure
behind the façade.
Two private domestic corporations,
completely unaffiliated with the constructs of constitutional government, known
as the RNC and DNC, require membership in order to participate in the pretense
of American democracy. The same financial entities that fund the K-Street
operation, fund the private political clubs.
We The People, voters, are engaging
in their construct to send ‘representatives’ into a political construct that is
a façade. The financial entities on K-Street, those who position wealth
and generate the rules to maintain it, are the same financial entities that
fund the mechanisms of the two private corporations (RNC/DNC).
The United States system of
government is now operating to maintain this construct of common benefit. . . .

Newsweek’s Ewan Palmer has the announcement of Donald Trump’s rally tomorrow, and the report casts the rally in as negative a light as possible. What a surprise:
Donald Trump has come under fire over his upcoming rally in Waco, Texas, with the former president facing a number of potential headaches as he attempts to kick-start his 2024 campaign.
Trump will appear at his first major public 2024 rally in the Lone Star state on Saturday, March 25, while facing a potential historic indictment in New York as part of an investigation into alleged hush money paid to Stormy Daniels.
Trump's team announced the Waco rally on March 17, one day before the former president claimed on social media that he would be arrested under Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's probe and called for his supporters to protest. . . .

Lynette ‘Diamond’ Hardaway, half of
the pro-Donald Trump vlogging [video blogging] duo Diamond and Silk, has passed
away at her home in North Carolina.
A post on the pair’s Twitter
account stated that a memorial ceremony will be held at a later date and asked
for privacy for her family.
‘The World just lost a True Angel
and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!’ their
Twitter account stated.
I was a fan.
So were we. Way too young; only 51. RIP

The headline on Dan Gelernter’s recent column at American Greatness -- “Trump Was a Mistake” – is a bit misleading. The mistake was that of the Uniparty. Mr Gelernter compares the ascendency to the presidency in 1900 of Teddy Roosevelt (TR), who was much despised by the political establishment because it could not control him. The establishment’s mistake back then was nominating TR in the vice-presidency, thinking that they could rid New York of its governor and at the same time condemn TR to political obscurity as Vice President. Didn’t work out that way. Mr Gelernter concludes:
So remember: The GOP isn’t really
our party. It never was. That is the central truth that the Trump
phenomenon has exposed—or exposed anew. It’s a political machine, just like the
Democratic Party, and it wants to run itself, not be run by “ordinary” people
like you and me. Trump’s nomination the first time around, from the GOP’s
perspective, was a huge mistake, just as TR’s had been. And they have no
intention of repeating that kind of mistake.
The GOP and the
Democrats and the media are all agreed on one, central point: Trump
cannot become president again. All these power groups’ motivations are
different, but their interests are aligned, and the stakes are practically
existential.
Keep the story of the 1900
Republican Convention in mind, too, when you think of Florida Governor Ron
DeSantis: He’s a huge success in Florida, and is the only governor standing up
to the federal government in any meaningful way. What could be better than to
seduce him away from that role with the promise of the presidency? Kill two
birds with one stone, and kill America, too, while you’re at it.
Trump was a huge mistake: He was
the biggest mistake machine politicians had made in over a century. The success
of Trump’s presidency dealt establishment politicians a heavy blow. A second
Trump term might kill them, and they know it.
So, be prepared to hear nothing
about Trump’s candidacy, nothing about his massive rallies, nothing about the
unwavering enthusiasm of his supporters. Be prepared to hear only one thing:
That the “people” don’t want him. But don’t believe it. Remember which people
are doing the talking.

J.B. Shurk at American Thinker has a good one. He begins:
Donald Trump is still the most popular politician in America. Despite the best efforts of a Deep State–supporting, fake news–peddling, globalist-puppeteering Axis of Evil dedicated to his disposal, President Trump still stands. That any man could be so continuously pummeled by the corrupt efforts of America's criminal (in)justice system, sociopathic officeholders, shady spies for hire, and propaganda-spewing press and yet rise with such vim and vigor is a sight to see! Courage and resilience in the face of unrelenting torment and scorn tend to galvanize those witnessing the bloody spectacle to the sufferer's cause. To remain undefeated while the torturers' whipping arms become weak and weary inspires legions to remain undefeated, too. How do great and powerful systems come toppling down? When one man stands fearlessly before the rot and rancidness with a giant mirror and says, "Look at what you've become."
And Mr Shurk concludes:
Because no secret puppeteer
operating from the shadows owns him, Donald Trump spoke clearly and honestly,
and Americans, hearing the truth for the first time in years, liked
what he had to say. What is more, even while being endlessly
hounded in office, Trump proved that borders could be protected, Main Street
could prosper, America could become energy independent, and that peace could be
achieved through the projection of Americans' collective economic
strength. Lower crime, lower illegal immigration, greater
middle-class wealth, and relative global peace proved that Trump is right and
that the "elites" are hopelessly wrong.
One reason I like Trump is because
I despise his enemies, and one reason I despise Biden is because he's in love
with our enemies. You cannot serve effectively as an American
president if you hate Americans. You cannot fight the growing threat
of American communism with milquetoast McConnellism as your broken
sword. You cannot be polite and quiet and hope to beat back the
Marxist hoards already despoiling America from within the gates and bloodying
Americans with nasty blows. You have to fight back hard.
President Trump embarrasses the
"elites" precisely because he is willing to expose them for who they
really are.
Read the rest here.
Good stuff.

Yesterday, I scrolled through an article at Citizen Free Press headlined “President
Trump Speaks With Ashli Babbitt’s Mother Outside J6 DC Gulag.” And in the comments I found this:
Here’s a letter to send to your
State Appeals Court, State Supreme Court, and U.S. Supreme Court. Also the last
sentence isn’t appropriate if you’re sending to a FIGHTER, but it’s very
appropriate if you’re sending to a RINO:
Dear Judge [or name of RINO]
The fact that we have political
prisoners being held without substantial charges, without bail, and literally
starting to die like neglected animals is a stain on the Judicial System that
has seared itself into the minds of the American People.
Now this is what happens when you
allow people to openly steal an election. They just move on to the next
outrage. We’ve got a real problem now, we’ve got people at the highest levels
sick in the head with what they perceive as power.
This is going to stop, I don’t know
how but I can assure you it is going to stop. The problem’s going to be how to
deal with these “Socialists” while that process is taking place; because with
their hearts hardened like Pharaoh’s, they won’t stop. The sooner we address
this the better, that’s all we know for sure.
So do something; if you can’t uphold
the Oath of Office, don’t take the job.
Sincerely concerned citizen,
Copy. Paste. Send. Share.
And thanks to the commenter posting as “Action.”

At Freedom First Network, JD Rucker explains the deliberate destruction going on all around us, and he further recommends what we can do about it. That includes getting into uncomfortable conversations with family and friends, and Mr Rucker starts with:
There are no coincidences.
Mask mandates weren’t lifted in
February, 2022, because Democrats were seeing the polls. They were lifted to
bring all focus on the upcoming Russian invasion of Ukraine and now we’re
seeing weekly gifts of billions of dollars laundered through the corrupt
nation.
Knowledge of Covid vaccines being
neither safe nor effective was not suppressed because government officials and
corporate media are stupid. This knowledge was suppressed because they needed
as many men, women, and children to get injected as possible.
Food plants aren’t blowing up
randomly at a time when food security was becoming an issue. They were
sabotaged intentionally.
Efforts to keep Donald Trump from
winning in 2020 weren’t oddly uniform by accident. Suppression of Hunter
Biden’s laptop story, the unwarranted impeachment of President Trump, and late
night ballot drops in conspicuously close swing states were all part of the
Cabal’s election-stealing mechanisms.
Ludicrous economic policies aren’t
being rolled out worldwide because capitalism suddenly experienced temporary
insanity. These policies were planned well ahead of time to match the moment
when economies could be made to collapse.
These are just a few of the
coincidences that were anything but.
The plans are in motion. Events are
unfolding very quickly. It behooves us all to not only become aware of these
plans but to share them with anyone who will listen. . . .

Conservative Treehouse / Sundance's "I Am a MAGA Republican, and Donald Trump is My Weapon" is a good explanation of America First economic policy -- and it is reader-friendly. Sundance begins:
At a national level there is a
unique policy priority that almost every politician, on both sides, will avoid
discussing. At a national level a single policy priority determines all
other national policy issues. That policy is the national economic
policy.
The national economic policy of a presidential
candidate determines all other national policies that flow from the
presidential candidate. The national economic policy impacts the obvious
policies like energy and trade, and also determines the lesser obvious policies
like regulation and even foreign policy.
It is specifically because a candidate’s national economic outlook impacts all other issues, that most national politicians never talk about it.
It would be impossible to support
Main Street USA, a popular talking point, and still support the Paris climate
treaty, the transpacific trade partnership (TPP) or the transatlantic trade and
investment partnership (TTIP).
To avoid the contradictions most
democrat and republican politicians avoid discussing their national economic
policy; it is an unspoken rule within the billionaire club and donor game; an
economic code of omerta amid most political candidates.
President Trump broke the rule, and even went so far as to campaign on an America-First economic policy agenda. . . .
The full article is here, and it concludes with an analogy to
a technician who can get rid of all those destructive raccoons in your basement. Makes it fun and accessible.

J6 protestors have been incarcerated for 20 months - and counting - without due process
protection. Donald Trump is having
difficulty finding attorneys who will represent him. At American Thinker, Andrea Widburg provides
some important background and history on the Bill of Rights:
Leftists seem pleased that no
lawyers will represent Trump. This is a terrible thing that, as much as
anything else, represents the downfall of America under the left’s aegis. The
aggressive leftist purge of conservative or just brave attorneys is destroying
one of America’s greatest institutions: Every person’s right to have an
attorney at his side.
In 1770, Redcoats fired on a crowd
that had surrounded them, taunting them and pelting them with dangerous
projectiles. Five colonists died. The British soldiers claimed self-defense,
but the patriots in Boston called it murder. We remember it as the Boston
Massacre.
What too few Americans know is that
the soldiers, despite a trial in hostile territory, got a stellar defense.
Their attorney was John Adams. He knew that representing the soldiers was a
risk that could destroy his law practice and impoverish his family, but he also
understood something very important about the law in a free country: No one
should have to stand alone against the awesome majesty of the state, which has
the power of the police, the prosecution, the judge, and the executioner.
. . .
What’s happening here is troubling.
As John Adams knew, every person, even a guilty person, needs a friend in the
court who will help him when the all-mighty government comes calling. A good
lawyer may find himself defending unpopular people or causes, but that comes
with the territory in a free country.
Leftists want to destroy this
important right. When they’re done, we will all be at the mercy of a government
that can abandon due process entirely because hapless defendants will be
helpless to assert it. The same government can also do anything it damn well
pleases because no lawyers will be there to challenge its illegalities and
excesses.
Lots more here. When
the government can abrogate our Bill of Rights, we’re on our own.

Peter Navarro is the former Assistant to the President for
Trade and Manufacturing Policy and author of Taking Back Trump’s America: Why We Lost the White House and How We’ll
Win It Back. He is sounding an alarm over Donald Trump’s scheduled speech to address the America First Policy
Institute in DC [today 7/26]. Mr. Navarro’s
article at AmericanGreatness is
titled “Trump’s Think Tank Prepares to Betray Him,” and he names names,
including Larry Kudlow and Kellyanne Conway. Mr Navarro begins:
Don’t
go, Boss! That’s my strong advice to President Trump as he prepares to
deliver a speech in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday at his alleged “think tank,”
the America First Policy Institute (AFPI).
.
. .
Arguably, the most dangerous AFPI
fifth-columnist is former Louisiana Governor Bobby
Jindal. After the Boss left office, Jindal would insist “Trump was undone
by his own predatory nature” and attacked the Boss for his “conspiracy theories
and extra-constitutional notions.” Today, Jindal is aggressively pushing a “Trumpism
without Trump” agenda.
That may well be AFPI’s broader
agenda: Hijack the political attractiveness of Trumpism but replace Trump with
an AFPI-anointed RINO. Here, it is worth remembering the Michael Dukakis bon
mot: “a fish rots from the head up.”
He concludes:
Memo to the Boss: Instead of
legitimizing these grifters, why not demand they stop using the Trump good name
to raise money to engineer their “Trumpism without Trump” coup. Alternatively,
if this really is your think tank, bring in a John McEntee or Liz
Harrington to run the place with the full power to fire and hire. Now
that would be a real Trump MAGA policy institute.

Mike Gibbons is running for Rob Portman’s US Senate seat. So is J.D. Vance, who is running as a "conservative outsider." "Outsider," ok. But "conservative"? Here’s what candidate Mike
Gibbons has to say about Vance:
My bumbling opponent JD Vance has shown
how incompetent he is. In a recent tweet, he called for America to abolish the
electoral college!
In advocating for France’s national
popular voting system, J.D. Vance not only called for automatic voter
registration and proxy voting—which would gut the integrity of our
elections—but for one-party rule by the same coastal elites that he worked side
by side with his entire adult life.
Your representative should
understand our election process so they can work to ensure their integrity. I
do, but obviously, Vance doesn’t.
Vance’s comments showcase his
disregard for our electoral system, his lack of understanding of how to secure
our elections, and how he is clearly not ready to take on the many
constitutional issues faced in the U.S. Senate.
The Electoral College shouldn’t be
abolished. Our elections need protection!
This blog posted earlier on why President Trump’s controversial endorsement of Dr. Oz makes some sense; click here. However, I do hope he does not endorse Vance.
Bad news. According to the American Greatness blog, President
Trump is considering doing just that.

Examiner on the subject of China.

Megan Fox at PJ Media marked the one-year anniversary of Rush Limbaugh’s passing:
Kathryn Limbaugh took Fox News into
the home she shared with the great Rush Limbaugh for an exclusive interview one
year after the death of the talk radio giant. “Fox & Friends” co-host
Ainsley Earhardt interviewed Kathryn about her husband’s legacy in a touching
segment that will not leave a dry eye across Dittohead Nation.
Kathryn has been gracious in
sharing her grief with Rush’s audience, who also feel that they’ve lost a
family member. “I’m doing well for the most part,” said Kathryn. “It’s been
very difficult, but knowing how many people are out there praying for me,
praying for Rush, I very much think this was the nation’s loss.”
Never-before-seen footage of Rush’s
home focused on beautiful American memorabilia collected over the years. “To
me, it really represents Rush in so many ways, not because of the grandness of
it,” she said. “That’s not really him. It represents success, American
freedom.” One such reminder is an American flag hanging in the foyer that was
given to Rush by American service-members who flew it on five different
aircraft carriers before giving it to him.
Kathryn noted that receiving the
diagnosis of cancer was a blessing in that they were given some time to prepare
and also to hear some of the tributes before Rush was gone, like the memorable
speech President Donald Trump gave honoring Rush’s life with the presidential
medal of freedom. “One of the perks, I guess, of having a diagnosis like this
is that you have a little bit of time to hear some of the wonderful eulogies,”
she said.
When Rush died, Kathryn got on the radio that day and broke the news to the audience. “I wanted them to hear that devastating news in the most familiar way possible. I knew this audience would remember where they were when they lost their hero,” she said. . . .
