About 14,000 registered voters in
Beachwood, Broadview Heights, Richmond Heights and Cleveland’s Wards 7 and 15
will have to vote in new locations when they cast ballots in Tuesday’s special
primary election, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections said Friday.
The primary will determine the
Democratic and Republican nominees to fill the congressional seat that
Democratic former U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge of Warrensville Heights vacated to
head the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development,
