If you are a registered Republican voter in Cuyahoga County, then you may have received the information posted below. I am posting the information for those Tea Party people who are thoroughly disgusted with the Republican Party, and who understandably might have tossed out the envelope unopened.

The letter appears over the signatures of Robert Frost and Jeff Hastings, both Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Republican Board Members:

Each Election Day, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections strives to ensure all aspects of the election are carried out in a fair, transparent, accurate and bi-partisan manner. The upcoming election on November 8, 2016 will be bigger than ever, and we need your to help make this a reality.

Based on your voter history, we know you are already engaged in the democratic process and invite you to be part of this historic election by sharing your time and talents in a variety of paid positions. Opportunities include:

•      Precinct Election Official: Staffs the polls on Election Day, assists voters, and ensures the election process is handled in an orderly, professional and lawful manner. Earns up to $200.00.

•      Rover: Travels to various polling locations to assess and assist with problems, safeguards sensitive documents and supplies, and delivers election materials. Earns $11.00 per hour.

•      Ride Along: Maintains political balance on election night by riding with law enforcement officials to and from drop-off locations and the Board of Elections warehouse to deliver ballots. Earns $10.00 per hour.

•      Temporary Election Clerk: Performs duties at the Board of Elections leading up to, during and/or after Election Day. Earns $10.00 per hour.

More than 6,000 people are needed to fulfill these duties, and we do our very best to place an equal number of Republicans and Democrats in each position. By participating, you are serving your country and community, taking an active role in our system of government and making sure every vote counts. Hillary's coughing fits

On Labor Day, I posted a brutal three minute video excerpt from Hillary’s campaign speech in Cleveland – she was having coughing fits, losing her voice, etc. But are you aware that her coughing fits have been a recurring feature on the campaign trail? A lot of bloggers and columnists are wondering what is going on with her health issues. 

Nobody knows, but The American Mirror website chronicles her speeches in 2016 that were interrupted by coughing (Hacking Hillary: A complete timeline of 2016 coughing fits); this report includes video footage of each of the speeches that raise questions about her health. The dates of those speeches are below, and they are frequent enough to suggest an ongoing physical problem.

Repeated coughing fits will be increasingly difficult for the mainstream media to ignore or cover up. MSNBC actually pulled the live feed on her Labor Day coughing fit, but can these efforts to protect her continue?

Today, Phyllis Schlafly passed away in the presence of her family at her home in St. Louis, Missouri. 

An iconic American leader whose love for America was surpassed only by her love of God and her family, Phyllis Schlafly, an indomitable pro-family grassroots advocate and organizer, was 92 years old. Mrs. Schlafly was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred and is survived by six children along with 16 grand and 3 great grandchildren. 

Phyllis Schlafly spent an astounding 70 years in public service of her fellow Americans. Her focus from her earliest days until her final ones was protecting the family, which she understood as the building block of life. She recognized America as the greatest political embodiment of those values. From military superiority and defense to immigration and trade; from unborn life to the nuclear family and parenthood, Phyllis Schlafly was a courageous and articulate voice for common sense and traditional values. She authored 27 books and thousands of articles. She spoke tens of thousands of times across the United States. 

Her joy in life was evident to all through her smile and wit. Funeral arrangements are pending.
