We’ve all recognized the January 6 “insurrection” as a false flag event, a set-up by the FBI, Capitol Police, Nancy Pelosi, and other bad actors. So many lies, so much obstruction, that it has been challenging to piece everything together. Now with the surveillance videos surfacing on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program, claims of a set-up are now verifiable. Don Surber got most of it figured out:
For two years now, we have heard
about an insurrection that everyone knows was bogus. The media deliberately
lied in its vain attempt to ruin President Donald John Trump — one in a series
of attempts by the real deniers of election results.
Tucker Carlson’s revelation that
the Capitol Police incited peaceful protesters has been dismissed by a media
obsessed with lying. The key to Pravda — the Soviet version of propaganda — was
not to get people to believe it, but to get people to stop following the news.
Judging by television ratings in the 21st century, it is working. It
indoctrinates Americans to believe they are powerless and that resistance is
futile.
So the lies continue.
.. . .
After two years of selective leaks
of video by Pelosi’s Pretorian Guard, the nation finally gets to see the whole
story — and the Capitolists hate it.
CNN
said, “US Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger on Tuesday ripped into Fox News
host Tucker Carlson over his commentary about footage from the January 6, 2021,
insurrection that he aired Monday night, saying the host cherry-picked from the
footage to present offensive and misleading conclusions about the attack.”
The political appointee whined in a
memo leaked to CNN, “Last night an opinion program aired commentary that was
filled with offensive and misleading conclusions about the January 6 attack.”
Manger also wrote, “The program
conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of
video. The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence
that happened before or during these less tense moments.”
This is the same group that
selective leaked out-of-context video for two years. House Speaker Kevin
McCarthy released all the video.
CNN tossed the word insurrection
into its report three times, even though it was a mostly peaceful protest. The
word insurrection is important for Washington elitists to establish because it
is the key to their plan to bar Donald Trump from the presidency.
. . .
Lots more in Mr. Surber’s Substack column here. Bottom line: there was no "insurrection."

Dr Joseph Mercola just published another update on the Pfizer “vaccine” and it’s just as bad as all the earlier updates. The Story-at-a-Glance at America First Report:
- Die Welt, a mainstream media outlet in Germany, revealed that numerous subjects who suffered adverse events, including deaths, during Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot trials were removed from the trial data
- A person known as “Pfizer subject C4591001 1162 11621327” died three days after receiving the second dose of Pfizer’s COVID shot, reportedly due to stroke and arteriosclerosis; it was deemed unrelated to the shots
- The CDC has since warned that people ages 65 and older who received Pfizer’s updated (bivalent) COVID-19 booster shot may be at increased risk of stroke
- Die Welt also revealed contradictions in Pfizer documents, adverse events from the shot downplayed and mass unblinding of study subjects, which wasn’t revealed in a later approval study
- In November 2020, Pfizer claimed their COVID-19 shot was 95% effective against COVID-19, but this was highly misleading and based on flawed methodology, including excluding people who got COVID-19 within 14 days after their first shot
- Pfizer has profited immensely despite the concerns, earning a record $100 billion in 2022, including $37.8 billion for its COVID-19 shots and $18.9 billion for its antiviral drug Paxlovid

At American Thinker, J B Shurk has encouraging words for conservatives:
In So
Long, and Thanks for All the Fish (the fourth book in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy
of six books"), Douglas Adams brutalizes "democracy" in a hilarious exchange:
"On its world, the people are
people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the
lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said
Arthur. "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said
Ford. "It is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It
honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all
got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they voted in
more or less approximates to the government they want."
"You
mean they actually vote for the lizards?"
"Oh
yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But,"
said Arthur, going in for the big one again, "why?"
"Because
if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might
get in."
That is America's Uniparty system in a
nutshell! Republican, Democrat, whatever — they're all
lizards. Then someone who doesn't speak lizard comes along — Donald
Trump — and the "democracy" loses its collective mind. The
Intelligence Community spies on his campaign. The FBI insinuates
that he's a Russian spy. The press calls for his removal and
incarceration. Unethical prosecutors and judges go after anyone who
might be called his friend. The Uniparty harasses him with endless
investigations. The Pentagon and agency bureaucrats ignore his
lawful orders and spread gossip and lies. The Department of
(in)Justice and left-leaning local tyrants persecute his supporters with spurious criminal charges that
ruin lives but, more importantly, blare a warning to all Americans: if you dare to vote for a non-lizard, we
will target you as extremists, lock you up as insurrectionists, threaten all
you hold dear, and terrorize your lives! All this calculated Uniparty
and Deep State destruction because so many in Washington so despise the idea of making America great again that
they choose to imbecilically slander that notion as racist!
When President Trump took the
stage at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference and pledged to
"totally obliterate the Deep State" if voters re-elected him, he made
it crystal-clear that the war between the people and the lizards will be one
for the ages. "In 2016, I declared I am your
voice. Today, I add, I am your warrior. I am your
justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution." If
you didn't already know he was wearing his iconic navy suit, white shirt, and
red tie, you'd have thought that Johnny Cash's "Man in Black" had
just walked in announcing,
"There's a man going around taking names / And he decides who to free and
who to blame." He might as well have just admitted to the crowd
that he's Batman, looked through the cameras and directly into the watery eyes
of the RINOs wobbling in front of their televisions, and roared, "I'm vengeance." It was
a great speech, but all I heard was,
"Listen to the words long written down / When the man comes
around." Just like last year, he won the
CPAC straw poll overwhelmingly. . . .

At American Greatness,
Edward Ring published a good article on mis-named “renewable” energy sources, and it
will surely be useful in those unavoidable debates with your relatives and friends who are
true believers in the climate change / environmental protection rackets. The
piece includes an excellent graph/chart.
Mr. Ring begins:
Today in America, there are obvious
disconnects between observable reality and the narratives we get from the
corporate special interests controlling the news we consume, along with
politicians who are supposedly elected to represent us.
This is nothing new. Elites have
defined America’s destiny throughout its history. The only difference today is
that the internet, despite ongoing crackdowns, still manages to deliver an
unprecedented volume of contrarian perspectives to millions of people. We
aren’t any freer or less manipulated today than we ever were, we’re just more
aware of it.
What may be different today,
however, is the misanthropic folly of America’s current energy policies.
America’s ruling elites are not only imposing these policies on everyone living
here, they are attempting to impose them everywhere on earth.
By now it should be beyond serious
debate that “renewable” energy cannot possibly scale adequately to replace
fossil fuels. Worse still, renewable energy systems are even less sustainable
than fossil fuels and cause more environmental destruction.
Renewables also fail to offer significant reductions in carbon emissions, and
in some cases actually cause more carbon emissions.
Why these facts are dismissed by
America’s elites is a story of corruption, collusion, megalomania, greed,
cowardice, intellectual negligence, and delusional mass psychosis. Modern
political theory offers solace to cynics who believe all democracies are
actually just “managed” shams by suggesting pluralism and representative
government are nonetheless at least approximated if there is competition among
the powerful elites running a nation. But what if there is no inter-elite competition in
the realm of ideas? What happens when every one of these elites believes the
same things? When it comes to “renewables” and “net zero by 2050,” that’s what
we have in America today. . . .

AOC Proposes Nationwide Ban On Straws
After Learning Trump
Won Straw Poll
WASHINGTON, DC — Following former
President Donald Trump's overwhelming victory in CPAC's straw poll for the 2024
Republican presidential nomination, New York Congresswoman Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez has proposed legislation that would impose a nationwide ban on
the use of straws.
"This poll shows straws are a
threat to our democracy!" Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement to the media.
"If straws are supporting Donald Trump and his dangerous ‘MAGA' movement,
then they have no business being in public circulation, let alone voting for
President!"
"Plus, they outnumber humans,
like, 2 to 1. That's scary!"
The straw poll, conducted at the
annual Conservative Political Action Conference, showed Trump garnering a
commanding 60% of the votes cast. This resulted in immediate calls from
Democrats to subject straws to even heavier regulation. . . .
And the closer:
At publishing time, AOC had been
seen at a local coffee shop gluing herself to a straw in protest.

Rick McKee’s cartoon seen on PowerLine’s "Week In Pictures"
The Democrats really do want more of your money. At American
Spectator, David Catron reports on the case before the Supreme Court
concerning the cancelation of student debt; he begins:
Last week’s oral arguments before
the Supreme Court concerning the Biden administration’s student-loan
forgiveness plan predictably focused on arcane legal theories such as the “major
questions doctrine.” Relatively little time was devoted to the profoundly
inequitable structure of the program. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice
Neil Gorsuch did note that it would provide benefits to certain
favored persons while ignoring the very real costs it would impose on others,
but no one mentioned a fact that will gall most taxpayers — it would cancel
student loans for college dropouts.
Remarkably, the Biden
administration and most Democrats see this as a selling point for the
plan. The White House fact
sheet puts it as follows: “Nearly one-third of borrowers have debt but
no degree, according to an analysis by the Department of Education of a recent
cohort of undergraduates.” The Democrats justify canceling these loans because
tuition costs have risen, ignoring evidence that
the loans have driven that increase. Sen. Elizabeth Warren
(D-Mass.) claims:
“Up to 4 in 10 people with student loan debt weren’t able to graduate, many
because of high costs.… Canceling student loan debt would change their lives.”
The problem is that the $400
billion program would also “change the lives” of millions of Americans
for the worse. How? It will raise the stealth tax known as inflation. . . .
