For those of you who have long ago turned off the TV, including Fox
News, you may still want to know how President Trump’s interview on Tucker
Carlson Tonight went. Andrea Widburg at American Thinker has a column about it, as well as video clips if you are inclined:
On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson
dedicated his entire program to an interview with Donald Trump. Despite six
years of non-stop persecution, including two years of dealing with the fallout
from a gamed election, and a recent arrest, Trump looked unchanged. He hadn’t
aged a bit, and he was every bit as vibrant and on-the-ball as ever. His
communication style hadn’t changed either: Discursive and repetitive, but also
insightful and showing his intelligence, humanism, and ego. In addition, the
interview contained some serious bombshells on everything from the mundane to
the existential. . . .
Ms. Widburg has more confidence than do I in future
elections, but this blog links to her report on the Trump interview, because it’s
otherwise excellent.

Sundance is seeking suggestions from his readers; in his own words, “Put your thoughts into the
form of a vessel, willing to deliver in just about any way possible. What
do you want me to do?” He provides
thorough context and reasoning.
In the comments section below his posting, I found reader Steve Brown who probably reflects the thoughts and perspectives of many readers:
I live and work in my Homeland,
England. I speak for the very many people with whom I have spoken here when I
say that the USA is now viewed by most as being like a Greek Tragedy. Your
Leader is naught but a tragic comedian, propped up by unseen hands. Your
overseas ventures are characterised by abject failure, your economy is such
that it is endangering the rest of the world, but still the croaking voices of
those who supposedly represent you continue to profess your assumed global
leadership.
Those same people now, since the
very recent indictment of Donald Trump, state that Trump is very possibly the
only person capable of stopping the decline of the USA but also of possibly
reinstating that nation as the premier world leader and even as the bastion of
legal rights.
We overseas can only hope and pray
for you all in the United States.
If you have a suggestion for Sundance, by all
means go to his posting here.

President Trump is in New York today to face the bogus charges filed against him by New York corrupt-o-crat DA Alvin Bragg. This blog does not generally link to prayers and messages of faith; the Tea Party organizations’ three core values are fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets. In this case, I make an exception and can even justify it by pointing out the outrageous over-stepping of legal boundaries by the Manhattan DA, the very opposite of “limited government.” Even if you are not theologically on the same page, Sundance’s prayer for President Trump will give you some strength; click here.

Robert Spencer at FrontPageMag
offers today’s doomsday read:
End of the Republic:
Donald Trump has been
indicted
Is the title of this piece
apocalyptic hyperbole? I wish it were. But everyone in the country and most of
the people in the wide world know that Donald Trump has not actually been
indicted for the crime of giving hush money to a prostitute. He has been
indicted for the crime of opposing the Leftist elites and challenging their
control over the political system. For the first time in American history, a politician
– indeed, a front-running presidential candidate – has been indicted in order
to destroy his political chances. Americans used to take pride in the fact that
such things didn’t happen in the United States of America. But that United
States of America is over.
Donald Trump has been indicted on
the thinnest of charges. . . .
More at the link here.
Mr. Spencer concludes:
This is a dark day for the United
States. If there are any Democrats with integrity left, they would join the
House Republicans who have already gone on record decrying this, and stop it
before it’s too late. But if Trump is arrested, handcuffed, and perp-walked, it
will be much more than just a photo-op for the salivating Leftist mob. It will
be the end of the republic. Somehow, possibly, the republic may end up being
reborn, and the rule of law saved. Maybe this will disgust enough Leftists to
make that possible. The Hail-Mary football is in mid-flight now.

Margot Cleveland at The
Federalist puts the indictment of President Trump into the larger context:
Manhattan grand jury has indicted
former President Donald Trump, a spokesman for the district attorney’s
office confirmed following late-Thursday media leaks. While
the indictment remains under seal, one thing seems certain: America has now
entered the era of “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” politics.
The Democrat district attorney,
Alvin L. Bragg, breathed new life into the infamous boast of Joseph Stalin’s secret police chief,
Lavrentiy Beria, when the Manhattan prosecutor targeted the former president in
connection to a 2016 payment made to Stormy Daniels. Bragg’s decision to push
for an indictment against Trump, presumably for falsifying business records,
promises to herald in a new political age — one in which local prosecutors will
target partisan enemies, big and small, making a mockery of the criminal
justice system in the process.
The fact that news of the charges
leaked to the left’s favorite scribes at The New York Times, while the indictment
remained still under seal, punctuates perfectly the Sovietesque times in which
we live: The legacy media may not be state-run, but they peddle propaganda
nonetheless.
And Ms Cleveland concludes:
. . . if the indictment contains no new
details, the piling on to reach the reported 33 counts against the former
president doesn’t make Trump look more guilty — it makes Bragg look more like
Beria.

Roberto Wakerell-Cruz of The Post Millenial reports:
Donald Trump landed in East Palestine, Ohio on Wednesday, where he met with local officials and citizens of the small town still trying to bounce back from the ecological disaster caused by a train derailment and subsequent controlled burn.
Alana Mastrangelo at Breitbart reports:
Former President Donald Trump
visited East Palestine on Wednesday, where he delivered truckloads of
bottled water following a train derailment earlier this month that left the
small town in disarray.
“President Trump is meeting with
the citizens of East Palestine, and he will never forget them and what they are
going through. Contrast that with Biden and the federal government, who have
failed them from the beginning,” Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told
Breitbart News.
John Rourke, the CEO
of Blue Line Moving, which transported the pallets of water to East
Palestine, told Breitbart News the company moved 13 pallets of water, which
comes to over 14,000 bottles for the small town.

How many calls and emails a week do you get from various GOP entities asking for money? Our household gets a lot. However, we haven’t contributed to GOP groups for years. The GOP groups raised millions for over eight years on the specific promise of repealing Obamacare, and then … they didn't keep their promise.
Now President Trump is taking steps to re-direct
contributions that might go to various GOP groups to instead support the Save America Super PAC. From Dennis Michael
Lynch’s blog:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former
President Donald Trump has demanded that three main Republican groups stop
using his name and likeness to help raise money, a Trump adviser said on
Saturday.
The adviser, confirming a report in
Politico, said that lawyers for Trump on Friday had sent cease-and-desist
letters to the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional
Campaign and National Republican Senate Campaign, asking them to stop using his
name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise.
The
article goes on to state the following:
The adviser said Trump is sensitive
to the use of his name and likeness for branding purposes and has been irked
that the three groups have supported Republican lawmakers who had joined
Democrats in voting to impeach him over the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol
by pro-Trump protesters.
Trump’s plan is to use the money
raised from his Save America SuperPAC to help candidates of his choice win
in the 2022 congressional elections.
For
those patriots who are perpetually fed up with GOPe branch of the DC Uniparty, this
may be a start.
Right Side Broadcast Network [RSBN] is live streaming from CPAC 2021 in Orlando, FL. President Trump will deliver his remarks today, Sunday Feb, 28, in the afternoon, sometime after 3:00pm (CPAC schedule specifies 3:40pm). Conservative Treehouse has the live-stream link here.

From the CPAC website (mark your calendar):
Sunday, Feb 28: President Donald Trump will speak at 3:40 pm
Sundance at Conservative Treehouse is no fan of CPAC. He has many reasons, but every Tea Party member will remember this:
I do not forget when we gave
Republicans control of the House of Representatives; and when Paul Ryan took
over as speaker; and Ryan passed another three trillion omnibus spending bill
with full support of Democrats…. and then showed up to a standing ovation at
the “conservative conference.” WHAT the HELL was being conserved?
The time is now for CPAC to
reform…. OR the time has come for CPAC to be abandoned in favor of a national
convention that supports the 75 million+ Donald Trump voters. CPAC is not
that convention… not even close.
Nevertheless, President Trump’s CPAC keynote speech will attract
a huge audience. Expect RSBN to live
stream; links to follow.

My days on earth are numbered; But
before I fade away, there is something important I need to say. It may not be
important to anyone else; but it’s important to me. Win, lose or fraud
President Trump, I just want to say thank you for the last four years.
Thank you for making it cool to be
an American again. Thank you for showing us that we don’t need to be under
China’s thumb anymore economically, or any other way. Thank you for one of the
strongest economies we’ve ever experienced in my lifetime.
Thank you for all you have done for
the minority communities, and the outstanding decrease in the unemployment rate
you had. Thank you for making it feel good to love our country and to be a
proud patriot again.”
Thank you for supporting our
Nation’s flag and the men and women who fought for the freedom that stands
behind that flag. Thank you for supporting our nation’s law enforcement
organizations, and understanding how difficult their job really is.
Thank you for quelling the flood of
illegal immigration, and bringing to justice the thousands of criminals that
flood brought us. Thank you for giving corporations a reason to come back to
America to make our own products and put Americans back to work.
Thank you for bringing our troops
home from endless deployments that presented us with little more than body
bags; and for your commitment to strengthen our military.
Thank you for operation warp speed
and keeping your promise to bringing the Covid 19 vaccine to us in less than a
year. Thank you for your never-ending attempts at bringing peace to the Middle
East and your support for Israel.
Thank you for your Tax relief, and
thank you for our energy independence. Most of all though…
THANK YOU for taking a damn rotten
job that you never had to take!! Thank you for caring enough for this country
to want to try and make a difference.
Thank you for showing America how
little Career Politicians actually work for their constituents; for showing us
how much those politicians despise you for showing America how easy it is to
build a great nation, rather than rape her to line their own pockets and stock
portfolios.
Thank you for allowing us to
experience a President that wasn’t a lifelong politician, but a lifelong
American. THANK YOU MR PRESIDENT… YOU DID YOUR BEST…”
Wow. And thank you,
El Rushbo.
